LIQUEUR - Regeneration
Remasterbation satisfies me! Is this why women don't like us?
Remasterbation satisfies me! Is this why women don't like us?
Don't smoke too much pot, cause...
Mitch wrote it, ask him.
Written a looong time ago the same month as about 10 other songs. This is the only one that survived the bunch. I have the original recording as well as the version we did for our last full-band session in the "OJ DINGO EP" section.
I remember this song taking a long time to get right. Mitch and I spent a lot of time and tossed around a lot of ideas to get it to where it is today. I'd love to go back in town sometime and record a version together. I'm just happy to see a good sounding version of it up.
This is the first song that Mitch and I wrote together. The classic testament of what was to come!
I put my heart on you,
and I stained your clothes...
The original cut, now redone and on our new EP!
I've always liked how I often find new meanings in the lyrics to this song as I get older. Savor!
One of our bluesier songs, which has had several incarnations. This version is the quintessential in my head. Check out Mitch's newer version in 'MPLS Demos'.
Stage presence so subtle, you could inhale it!
Sorry for the long intro. I assure you the wait is worth it!
